Navi Nurses’ private duty RN jobs promise the change of pace you’ve been looking for — one where serenity replaces stress and fulfillment replaces working from an empty cup.
Enjoy more freedom and joy in a supportive nurse network that recognizes your worth. We are a team of nurses who support and lift one another up. Working as a private duty nurse, you will spend your time building meaningful relationships with clients who become like family. And best of all, you have autonomy over your schedule and are compensated well.
Being a part of our network means you can finally rediscover the power and pride that fuels your passion.
Founded by an RN, for RNs, Navi Nurses gets it. We understand how it feels to leave a 12-hour shift with a full list of things you wanted to accomplish but couldn’t. We know how administrative demands impact your satisfaction, and how your concerns are oftentimes unheard or dismissed. We resonate deeply with your frustration that your reward for doing great work, is more work.
We’re here to flip that script.
Love your job. Our care model is designed to alleviate burnout and reinvigorate your passion.
Practice to the highest scope of your license without constraints.
Care for clients whose healthcare needs align with your specialty and expertise.
Have freedom to work where you want, when you want, with the clients you want.
Work with a team of supportive nurses who love and care for you just as much as your clients.
Form meaningful relationships and become an extension of clients’ families.
A minimum of four years of Registered Nurse experience is required. While we prefer nurses who bring up-to-date knowledge directly from hospitals or specialized healthcare facilities, we welcome all qualified RNs to apply.
Be prepared to consistently work alongside fellow members of our RN network as part of a comprehensive care team. You will need to proactively communicate with these nurses, the clients and their families after every visit.
We go above and beyond for our clients. Our nurse partners listen to, empathize with, and empower the whole person. Visits are complete once client and family needs have been addressed.
Print documentation is in the past. You must be well-versed in EHR and other digital cloud tools, as well as our own Navi Nurses app, to confidently facilitate record-sharing and tracking among the care team and family members.
We’ll review your application and be in touch with you promptly if you meet all qualifications. Contact hr@navinurses.com if you have questions.
Register for orientation, where we can get to know each other better and ensure our missions align, while you learn how we operate and the key aspects of your future role.
We’ll ask you to submit basic hiring documents, walk you through background checks and get you prepared to deliver quality care.
Following a shadow shift with an RN preceptor on our team, you’ll experience our care delivery process firsthand, the Navi way.
We believe there’s no such thing as caring too much. We serve as protective guardians of our clients’ body, connections, and spirit. We don’t settle for anything less than extraordinary expertise, complemented by compassionate attention to the whole person and their family. We provide the care we would expect for our own loved ones.
The minimum requirements to apply are as follows:
We do! Please email hr@navinurses.com after applying for more details about attending our mandatory orientation session.
Once you’ve completed an interview, attended an orientation session and finished all onboarding requirements, you will then be paired with an RN preceptor for a shadow shift, so you’re set up for success in your new role with Navi Nurses.
The short answer? It depends on you, your specialty, and the types of clients you want to work with.
Every shift is slightly different, but they share a common thread of creating a connection with the client, performing an in-depth assessment of the individual and their environment, monitoring vitals, supporting care coordination, and collaborating with the client’s loved ones and providers.
We’re proud to support people through any transition in life with expert advocacy, education, care coordination, and hands-on care — which means our services are versatile and flexible for both you and the families you serve.
Yes! Please be up to date on all vaccinations. If you have questions about exemptions, email hr@navinurses.com.

Yes! We offer flexible scheduling based on client needs. You get to pick the shifts that fit your schedule.
Our rate is $60 per hour — aligned with Arizona’s “top-earning” home nurses and far exceeding the $46 national average. However, we do not reimburse for mileage or gas.
You will be offered competitive pay; however, you will not have access to insurance or retirement benefits as an independent nurse contractor. An independent contractor is an individual who works for a business as a third-party member.
While we’re unable to offer certain benefits, you’ll receive game-changing perks like more scheduling flexibility, less day-to-day stress and the autonomy to decide your scope, style and frequency of care.
We’re ready to welcome you to our diverse, dedicated team of Arizona Registered Nurses who have improved others’ quality of life while enhancing their own — all from the home.
