The Basics

Business hours are 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday.

Do you have information sessions and Orientation?

We do! Please email hr@navinurses.com if you’re interested in attending a mandatory information session. Once you’ve completed the information session, the interview process, and important onboarding duties, you will attend an orientation session so you can be set up for success as a Navi Nurse!

What does a regular/common shift look like? (what will I be doing?)

Navi Nurses support clients through any transition in life with expert advocacy, patient/family education, care coordination, and hands on care. Every shift is slightly different, but have a common thread – assessments, vitals, care coordination, and collaboration with the client’s provider team is typical. Navi

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Yes! Please be up to date on all vaccinations. If you have questions about exemptions, please email hr@navinurses.com

What is an independent contractor?

An independent contractor is an individual who works for a business as a third party member.

Is there a minimum amount of shifts I need to pick up?

It is required to pick up a minimum of 2 self scheduled shifts per month ranging from 1 hour of care to 12 hours of care

How long are the hours/assignments?

Assignments range from 1 hour of care to 12 hours of care. We offer different packages for clients including 1 hour, 4 hours, and 12 hours.

Is it flexible?

It is! You only need to pick up a minimum of 2 self scheduled shifts per month ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours.

We offer PRN opportunities for nurses. This means you get to pick your schedule!

Pay

Will I get reimbursed for mileage/gas?

Navi does not reimburse for mileage or gas.

How much do I get paid an hour?

Hourly rate is $60 per hour

Employment

Do you offer benefits? 401k, health insurance, etc.

You will be offered competitive pay, however will not have access to insurance or benefits as a nurse contractor

What qualifications do I need to work with Navi?

The minimum requirements to apply are the following:

Arizona RN license in good standing, unencumbered
2-3 years of direct patient care experience with 1 year in an acute setting within the last 2 years
Current AHA BLS and/or ACLS
ASN or higher & graduated from an accredited nursing program
Ability to drive to and from shifts
